Northern Lights Bed and Breakfast

Upon entering Northern Lights,  you will be greeted by our great room with fireplace.  Our goal is to allow you to enjoy the wilderness of the Adirondacks with all the comforts you could desire.  The great room serves as a gathering place for guests, chairs for reading, an oversized coffee table perfect for puzzles or games. 

In the morning, you will be greeted by hot coffee with a hearty mountain breakfast served upstairs in the dining room. 

Jackie bakes daily, we always have fruit and cereal choices as well as the entree of the day which is prepared before you by Frank in our theatre style kitchen. 

The guest rooms are all on the first floor of the home, our family quarters are on the second story.  In the summertime, you will likely drift off to sleep to the occassional call of a loon.  We currently feature three guest rooms each individually decorated by Jackie in the North Country Style.  Our home and all guest rooms are non-smoking and no pets.

The Pine Room:

• Antique brass queen size bed.
• Twin size day bed.
• Private adjoining bath with standard tub/shower unit and a double sink vanity.
• Vermont Castings gas stove fireplace in room.

The Elm Room:

• Mission style sleigh bed, queen size.
• Cherry furniture.
• Private adjoining bath with a spa tub, stall shower and a double sink vanity.
• Vermont Castings gas stove fireplace in room.

The Cherry Room:

• King size Stickley Poster Bed.
• Private adjoining bath with Jacuzzi spa tub for two, shower and a vanity.
• Vermont Castings gas stove fireplace in room.

All rooms feature an alarm clock radio, CD player, access to an Entertainment Cart for viewing DVD movies, and a hair dryer in the bathroom.  Complimentary wifi Internet access is available via highspeed  DSL - you provide your own PC. 

We offer Northern Lights Bed and Breakfast Gift Certificates as well as accept Gift Certificates from the Empire State Bed and Breakfast Association and Bed and Breakfast.com.
